One of the oldest Malawi cichlids in the hobby.  This is an easy fish to sex as all juveniles are blue to start and dominant males will begin to turn yellow as they reach sexual maturity.  Be aware that there can be "sleeper" males that do not change color if there are too many aggressive males in the aquarium.
